Nassenheide

Renewal of the two-track railway line between Rostock and Berlin

Between Nassenheide and Löwenberg, there was a stretch of about 10 km with four areas with soft subsoil down to a depth of 10 meters.

From a geotechnical point of view, this was the most difficult section of the entire route and required a pile foundation. For this, Centrum Pæle delivered 75,700 lbm of piles in the dimensions 25 x 25 and in lengths of 4-15 meters.
