Quality control
Quality control at Centrum Pæle A/S includes inspection and testing of purchased materials and component parts as well as finished piles.
In our two casting halls we inspect the type and placement of the reinforcement as well as any embedded parts before casting. At the demoulding, the finished piles are inspected for holes and cracks in the concrete and the usability of the embedded parts are once again controlled. All inspections and tests in the production are carried out in accordance with an inspection plan describing the location, frequency and purpose of all inspections and tests in detail.
The concrete strengths are observed carefully in our laboratory, and the results provide the basis for a weekly follow-up on the concrete. To ensure that the mechanic data are followed, a test of the reinforcement steel in the welded cages is carried out on a daily basis.
